puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted February 18, 2007 Hi, kids... I watched the game, but have company from outta town, so I waited til they fell asleep to post! But I made them watch the game with me. Even my non-hockey-fan friends were impressed with Hank. Amazing effort, great win, congrats on the hattie, Z! Dom was Dom, quietly efficient, and hr saved the game with the pad-stack move, they could have tied it up. He didn't get a star, but he should have. Oh, well. He got a great, solid win with his son there with him on the trip, that's pretty special. Congrats, Hank!! Your papa must be so proud.

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted February 18, 2007 glad you showed. hr40 was gone too. did you miss me? One of my friends went to bed and the other one is snoring on my couch now. I taped the game so I can go back and enjoy Hank's exploits (and watch Wayne whine, as usual...) I also cannot believe J Willee missed the EN. I laughed out loud when he did that. That is rich! We are everywhere! are you a happy girl, Kira??

Guest Crymson Report post Posted February 18, 2007 (edited) after all of hank and dats, homer was left off the score sheet... is there really a way that hank and dats combine for 8 points and homer gets a goose egg? The first goal was all Homer--Tellqvist couldn't see a goddamn thing. In any case, just because Holmstrom was left off of the sheet doesn't mean that he didn't do anything--chasing pucks into the corner and feeding them to Lidstrom, Schneider, Datsyuk or Zetterberg was a big part of his game (and always is). Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted February 18, 2007 Wow, that is pretty embarassing... when I saw williams miss that empty net, all I could think about was the Dallas game, when (i forgot his name), missed the empty net and edmonton went back down and scored. It was Patrick Stefan who missed the empty net. Everyone seems to forget that Stefan started the rally scoring when the Stars were down like 2-0 or 3-0 earlier in the game. It doesn't matter anyways, since Dallas still won. And I'd like to add: Even though Stefan was a former #1 overall draft pick and hasn't lived up to his offensive expectations, he's still a lot better than Williams. He's a decent checker, and he still has potential if he's given enough chances to develop.
