I know there's 9 days left, but still...We've already seen the Preds bulk up with Forsberg, I think Guerin is great, but the Blues hate us and would want a lot for him. Marty Lapointe kinda sucks, I don't see him being on our 1st two lines. I know this may be a dream, but I'd love us to try get Sundin. The Leafs are like 7th in the East, but they have to face the fact they have no chance. He would fit very well in our lineup, very well. The Blues hate us, and would want a lot for Guerin? A GM isnt gonna hold a player from trade because they "hate" the team. And then you say that the leafs are in 7th place and have no chance in the playoffs..... .......um, as long as their 8th or above, they DO have a chance. I understand what you're saying. I think this is a wonderful site. That's why I started this thread, to try and stimulate clever dialect. I wont just create a thread next time and just make a bunch of pointless threads.
