I think we ALL pretty much agree. You can just tell and feel that the Wings are going to make a big move, especially if players are coming out and giving their 2 cents.

Schneider's out to lunch if he thinks the Wings haven't had scoring problems aside from the first of this season since he came to the team in 03.

We all know about their scoring woes in the playoffs. And if Schneider isn't worried about going in to the playoffs with a one-line offence, then he's stunned.

Make no mistake, this teams needs scoring. The right kind of scoring.

Scoring first, then grit. But hopefully both.

Huge risk/reward involved with Bert. He hasn't played in months, has a big chunk of salary left and is an UFA after this season.

But Florida won't get as much for him as a Guerin or Tkachuk and it won't be anything near what Philly got for Forsberg.

IMO....too much risk to be comfortable with.

Why would anyone want Lapointe @2.4M next year, Mayers or Laperriere would be a better choice.

Lang is fine and he shows up in the playoffs.

Moving Lang this year would be dumb. We could/should move Williams though. What a bust! Bring in Bert and Guerin.
