Based purely on the shots on goal I'd say the less used players of the team are seeing more ice- possibly to showcase talent that's potentially on the trading block?

Yeah, he's much better when acting on the ice (oooh, burn!).

Nah, the way he did the line worked perfectly...reminded me of a old movie where it was meant to be overblown and underacted.
