But I doubt Cbus would deal with an inter-divion rival. Good for Carolina though. Carter has proven he can score with the right linemates. I'm sure he'll do well lining up with either Staal or Brind'Amour. I think he would have looked great with Lang or even with Dats and Z. Absolutely, how the frack did this slip by? Maybe change his jersey to a Wings jersey, could be very dangerous. He's very young and the 4th overall pick in 2003, so they could potentially want a lot in return. He couldn't spell the word DEFENSE if it was on a notecard right in front of face. Not to mention how lazy and uncoachable he is. If you watch Zherdev, you'd think probably rethink your thoughts of Lang being lazy. And what he did to the Columbus organization last summer by refusing to play for the team and go back to Russia if he is not paid 3 million or some other rediculious amount was awful. I wouldn't trade Williams for this guy. His attitude, and overall work ethic is so bad that giving Williams for him would be a steal for Columbus. No way would Zherdev be a good pickup.
