Zidlikcy almost made it 5-2 for Dallas in Nashville, he hit the danged post. Tootoo just got a penalty, roughing, with 2 minutes left. See what you get with 60 minutes of hockey?? W.

He HAS stepped up , these past couple games hes been good , hitting , fighting , and being on the ice when were scoring and not being scored agaisnt.

trueness... I am not the biggest Lilja basher, he has his moments and blocks shots rather well. He certainly isn't the only culprit in turnovers, which quite frankly, will be our downfall if any one thing can be fingered.

Iggy really got Mitch at first but then unfortunately Iggy had his jersey above his head as Mitchell was pounding. I still give the edge to Jarome of course!

It was back and forth, and I know Jarome is an emotional guy, but it's none too sporting to keep wailing on a guy once he's fallen to his knees like that.

Thats one of those scraps i need to see again to decide who won, I couldnt focus...too much action with all those darn gloves off! Mitchell did have him in pretty bad shape but then Iginla came back at the end.

He does have his moments , every D-man does.

I dont like Liljas turnovers , but your right , he isnt the only culprit (Nik Jr ;))

Stars beat Nashville 4-2, never took their foot off the gas all night. Outshot Nashville 35-26, in a back to back/road and road game, at that.

I am not at all sure they are a great pick for round one versus the Wings.

That was a fight that really seemed sparked out of anger and bad blood between the two. When you consider how Mitchell had the jersey over and was wailing him, nothing wrong with Iginla making sure he gets some shots in at the end. Plus its not like Mitchell was laying on his back or anything, on your knees is still fair game.

I don't really think their comeback win against us last night or their win tonight against the Preds means that the Wings couldn't handle them. I honestly think the Wings would absolutely own the Stars in the playoffs. They just aren't the same team anymore. Especially with their goaltending. Turco is fantastic, but come playoff time he's absolutely opposite. Then you have Smith in if they do decide to go with him he's going to have so much pressure on him being his first post season so who knows..

I'm really pissed I watched the damn Nashville game waiting for a scrap and instead all the excitement is happening in the Canucks-Flames game.

Tootoo was f**king brutal. Took a ton of stupid penalties that turned out to be really costly. Whoever said he gets treated like a rock star is right. Those whistles and all the attention he gets, man.

The scoreboard doesnt show it, but Dallas is the true loser for showing no character. Way to stick up for Robidas boys! I cant wait to see these guys lose in the 1st round.

Oh, I don't disagree. I am disappointed at the Wings' showing last night, that's all. And I obviously know Dallas pretty well. They are very predictable. I could have written them a script last night, I knew exactly what they were going to do. It killed me to watch that game, since I knew the outcome before the Wings did. All the Wings had to do was try even a little bit in the third and they would have owned the Stars... seriously.

Stars are a wild-card team in the playoffs, if you ask me. They look like crap on paper, but you put them on the ice with a burr under their saddle, and no amount of skill and finesse on the Wings' part will help. Wings will have to play tougher to beat them, but beat the Stars, they can. Just not in 40 minutes... all 60 will be required.

Turco can ratchet it up, but he is inconsistent. Smith is a fabulous goalie, and the Stars love him, and play like fiends in front of him. They're not to be taken lightly, although I know you are aware of that, oh, hockeysavyy, HC!! :P

I wonder if Tootoo's finally been exposed for the dirty player he truly is to the refs. They sure as hell weren't leniant with him tonight as they shouldn't be and I stand by my thought that if they called him fair and sqaure as if he were a 6'4+ 220+ enforcers he have no real place on Nashville's roster, as he'd spend more time in the box than on the ice.

I still have issues with Iginla when he got into a scrap with Hatcher when he was here. Iginla kept pulling his visor down over his face so Hatcher would keep scraping his knuckles across THAT instead of his face. <_<
