Or you could say that it's kind of silly to hark back to tradition on the issue of whites vs darks at home and just say which one is your personal preference. zettermaberg 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2007 according to bucci today, it's whites at home next year: The NHL will have new uniforms next season, designed to repel water and sweat and protect the players, as well. I've been told there will be no third jerseys and home teams will return to wearing white, which is what every hockey fan wants. Every uniform you are seeing now will be a vintage uniform in two months. he said, she said. so until we see something official from the NHL, i wouldn't believe everything you hear/read. Agreed. there will be no third jersey after this year....for any team Personal opinion, I don't think its fair to completely ban the 3rd jerseys. Let the teams do what they want. Just limit it to 3. The rule doesn't mean they aren't allowed to switch it up with the other teams once in a while.
