FinRedWing 172 Report post Posted April 8, 2007 The worst is clearly New Jersey v Tampa Bay. Unless Tampa can somehow win the series, then I'd love watching it.
Wingsfan4life19 26 Report post Posted April 8, 2007 To step away from the whole and concentrate on the wings momentarily... Does anyone know whether we play game 1 wednesday the 11th, or thursday the 12th?
Lou_Siffer 1 Report post Posted April 8, 2007 If the Leafs get in i'd be stunned if they won one game. That series has sweep written all over it.
KrazyGangsta 79 Report post Posted April 8, 2007 (edited) First of all toronto is not guaranteed in the playoffs and i really think if dipietro plays and their in the playoffs it can be a different series Edited April 8, 2007 by KrazyGangsta

It's the playoffs... that's the beauty of it: You never know. The most pathetic teams in the regular season who became 8th with the slimmest of margins can throw the whole playoffs around. You just can't tell. I remember a team called the Edmonton Oilers last year....

I remember a team called the Edmonton Oilers last year.... Yeah but i actually picked Edmonton to go to the conference finals! You could definitely see something there with that team even though they were an 8th seed, but the Leafs? Nah. Especially with Raycroft in net? No way they can stop Buffalo. They're junk. Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted April 8, 2007 I agree with Lou on this one. Toronto is not good enough to make it past Buffalo. They just don't have much, and especially not enough to compete with a top notch team like Buffalo. If I was a Toronto fan, I'd actually feel more comfortable with J.S. Aubin in net over Raycroft. The way Raycroft played last night shows he really can't handle big pressure games. The Islanders, on the other hand, have a good chance of actually eliminating the Sabers, even if DiPietro doesn't come back. Wade Dubielewicz has been very solid in net, and gives the Isles a chance. Combined that with Ryan Smyth, Jason Blake, and an actually inspired Alexei Yashin, and the Islanders are a very deadly team right now. If they get in today, look out.
