Maggie adds some much needed play-off hockey analysis to the less than great TSN broadcast team. (Although they all picked the Wings to beat the Flames). arnoldbuck 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2007 San Jose vs. Nashville - Big Series, too very strong teams!!! - Difference has a devestating PP - 2nd best - San Jose - Strong role players, strong, forechecking, defensive - Nashville must counter these strengths - Thornton - 54 PP points - Mason/Vokoun - on a short-leash can Vokoun be what he was before injury - Nabokov - great down the stretch, but has solid backup's. - Forsberg - playoff monster, can he payback for the trade? - hasn't had a great year, but injuries have slowed him - Thornton - great regular season - still needs a big playoff performance - 114 pts. - He is BIG!!! can put up points, but can hit - Princess has only 1 goal in last 12 games. arnoldbuck 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2007 Ducks vs. Wild - Similar PP numbers - Ducks - 2 good goalies - giguere needs to regain number 1 - Backstrom - very strong finish - #1 G/A (though less games than others) - Ducks - strong offense, Selannie, McDonald - Wild - Gaborik, Demitra, Rolston - 5 - 20 goal scorers - Ducks - Strong Defense - Wild - Defensive game - Ducks - VERY physical - far stronger TSN picks Ducks 5 Wild 0 That's surprising. I would have thought at least someone would have picked Nashville. I thought it would have been a little more even too. Nashville won the season series didn't they? 3-1 I think. No Montreal, No Toronto No Sakic When will Ovechkin get to make his debut? Still a frustratin system with 3rd seed in West and East having less points than 4th and 5th seeds, yet ranked higher over-all due to divisional champ rankings. Darren sees the wings winning the cup , While Darren Pang see the sabres over the wings , good either way if you ask me.
