Uh oh... Zoned out there for a minute. I saw tiny little men running around on my screen but I didn't comprehend hockey.

Finish this!

I was starting to think your mom sent you to bed, man.

By the way, FinWing, what are you doing?

Im pretty sure theres been a game go to a 7th OT

n/m I looked it up:

The longest game ever played was in Montreal on March 24, 1936. It was game one of the semifinal round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs between Detroit and Montreal. It ended when Detroit's Mud Bruneteau scored the game's only goal in the sixth overtime period after 176 minutes and 30 seconds of game play.

anyone know off hand the record for longest OT?

Longest playoff game in history

March 24, 1936: Detroit 1, Montreal Maroons 0 (6 OT)

Mud Bruneteau scored in the sixth OT, after 116 minutes, 30 seconds of extra time. The game ended at 2:25 a.m. and the Red Wings went on to capture the Stanley Cup.

I googled it. But this could be right.

OMG. How bout if this game goes on until the Wings play?! Like we'd all be ZOMBIES with no sleep and then we'd get ready for class, go, come back home, and the game was still on..and then it's like the 12th OT and then the Wings game starts..and then the Wings game finishes with a 4-2 Wings win and this game is still going on.! OR how bout if it goes on till their NEXT game?! Think about it.

I think I've lost my mind.

Im being serious , Did you see that goal agaisnt Calgary a few years back ?

Haha, but he was a one hit wonder. When I think Stanley Cup OT hero Mark Mowers doesn't really come to mind for me...maybe Boyd Devereaux or something (jk, obviously)

Well duh! He's going to be inducted into the hall of fame. Mark Mowers > Everyone else.

Mowers is already in the HOF. The HOF commitee is just waiting until he retires so he doesn't make guys like Gretzky feel bad because he didn't get in until after he retired. :P
