BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted April 18, 2007 I'd have to say Pittsburgh/Ottawa. Two very exciting teams, both sides stacked with incredible offense, and both very determined teams. San Jose/Nashville is very arguable as of now, but I prefer Pens/Sens. Watching their games, my heart leans towards Pittsburgh, which is very shameful as a Canadian hockey fan, and moreso an Ontario hockey fan, but something about it gets me excited when Pittsburgh scores. I enjoy watching this series like crazy. What series do you enjoy most thus far, aside from ours?
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted April 18, 2007 Despite it being low-scoring, big time defensive affair, I've deeply enjoyed the Dallas-Vancouver series, which may or may not have to with the Crew and some OTs. Pens-Sens would be next on my list... Watching superstars like Crosby and Alfredsson score is pretty good stuff.
arnoldbuck 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2007 (edited) the two you mentioned. San Jose ... though a little dirty a times, when you watch it ... you just see Playoff hockey. And Ottawa vs. Pens has a lot of talent ... and with the Pens bouncing back after game one, it seems more balanced. on the other side of the spectrum ... The Ducks vs. Wild I have had no interest in. Vincanni 1 Report post Posted April 18, 2007 Nashville/ San Jose offensively, lots of vicious/dirty play and the games seem very up and down, been a blast to watch though games could be a bit closer. Vancouver/Dallas defensively, Every game's gone down to the wire including the epic 4OT duel. Turco's also been great so the Luongo/Turco match-up hasn't been nearly as lopsided as I was expecting it to be. Edge goes to Van vs. Dal. ...Third goes to the Pitt vs. Ott, inexperience versus past futility and tons of star power.

Jamaica Jon 1 Report post Posted April 18, 2007 Going in to the playoffs, the one series I decided was a must-see for me was Ottawa/Pittsburgh. I just HAD to see how well the youngsters in Pittsburgh would handle the playoffs. Now that we're 3ish games in I'm gonna have to go with San Jose/Nashville. Game 1 was a lot of fun to watch, a very exciting game. I'm also excited to see who wins... since they could be a possible opponent for us if we survive Calgary... which adds to the excitement factor.

I think this has it about right...SJ-NSH and OTT-PIT were my two must-sees going in, but the Pens haven't shown up to play, really other than the 3rd period of game 2. Still a good series, just not as good as SJ-NSH or VAN-DAL.
ProfessorLidstrom5 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2007 Hands down the Preds/Sharks series!! Lots of hitting, goals, and fights. I also like the Isles/Sabres series because I am rooting for the upset.

Vansmack-CP 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2007 I think the preds/sharks. Lots of emotion in every game. I have a really off topic question: what is the intro song for the redwings? I heard it at the last two games, but couldn't figure it out. Thanks!
Janbulis 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2007 Van/Dalllas.... I think its a perfect matchup. defintly van/dal the drama in all games is amazing not 2 mention watching the best goalie in the world play
CrazyCanuck 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2007 I am really surprised some of you put down Van/Dal cuz it has to be one of the most boring styles of playing with no scoring except for Game 1. But, I won't complain. Vancouver is up 3 to 1 in the series! Plus, the Flames won tonight so I didn't buy Game 5 tickets for nothing! lol

CrossoverThrash 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2007 I think the Tampa/NJ one isnt too bad
omnipotent_hudler 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2007 (edited) Tampa/NJ for me as well. I thought Pens/Sens was going to be a lot closer of a series than it was(of course its not over yet, just seems like the Sens are pretty dominant heading into game 5). Dal/Van was awesome in game 1 and kind of turned into the low scoring grinds that everyone was predicting after that. Besides that, I've found the Sabres/Islanders series to be pretty fun to watch, it's alot closer than I thought it would be.
