Dabura 12,232 Report post Posted May 3, 2007 I rather like to think that hockey is a contest between two teams, and acknowledge that the play of one may very well be the product of the play by the other, for example, the last half of Game 3. You may see the Wings starting to inexplicably suck and play without heart, I see a very big and strong Sharks team start to play their game and leave the Wings without answers. I'm not trying to give you s***, man, it's just something I've noticed around here. Give credit where it's due; how annoyed would you be to see Sharks fans saying their team lost only because they beat themselves? I give credit where it's due and I give s*** where it's due, and you can't say no s***'s due after that last game. This team has a knack for self-destructing, regardless of the team it's facing. The last game was a great example: They let the Sharks back in the game by putzing around with the puck in the defensive zone and generally being sloppy. That's not heart -- that's sitting back and then getting bitten in the ass for it. Chelly: "Hey! A puck! And in our zone of all places! Small world, eh, little puck? You know, I think I'll call you Luck. Ah, this reminds me of the time--" Thornton: BAM. WHAM. CRUSH. Chelly: "The hell? Oh well, all that matters is that Luck and I are--" Thornton: BAM. BAMBAMBAM.
