Flames?) in Wings' clothing, mayhaps? Can't picture a Wings fan predicting such a defeat for a single game. One might think it, or worry that it might happen, but I can't picture them posting it on the GDT. I dare to say that his is the most important game of the Year. It is. And the most exciting to date. And I was actually able to get tickets for tonights game. I'll be one of the probably 6 people NOT wearing teal colors. Here's for the win!! Salviaman 104 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 We need this win really bad, it is do or die time. Going down 3-1 is bad, considering we have only won one road game so far this postseason. That being said I think the Wings will win. It is now time for the hero to emerge, the one who will take this team to the promise land. Who will it be though? Who is going to pick this team up on his back and carry them to the cup? Who will single handley make the power play actually perfrom? My money is on Zetterberg, it is his time to shine, he needs to emerge as the next great Red Wing. Hopefully they do the same tonight, just play with the same effort that they had in the 1st period of game 3, and keep it all the way through the game to steal one. Covenant 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 What up boys/girls!? ..been sick a couple days. Anywhoo, tough series for the Wings, we all knew that going in. Damn those Canucks for taking out Dallas. That being said, the Wings have dominated the Sharks for small periods of time, and the Sharks have dominated the Wings for large stretches of the games.. which we need to reverse. They are big/tough, whatever, but it'd be nice if the Wings played their game for a sustained period of time. If so, the series will last my predicted 7 games - - -which I tend to give the nod to Dom Hasek @ the Joe! I think we're all realizing what Homer means to Line 1, a lot. Nobody has developed better chemistry with Pav/Z. Mickey also noted that in the last game, Big Bert sure is parked in front of the net, but to tip the damn puck, you have to be LOOKING at it!! Seemed everytime he got in front of the net successfully he's jump in the air and the puck would hit his fat -ass. Anyhow, tough one tonight as well.. but, it's nearly a "win or go home" situation. I like the Wings chances, and will be up happily until 1am to see us win. The Wings have yet to put together 60 minutes of consistent hockey, and until they prove to me that they can, I'm not going to be too hopeful. SJ 3 Wings 1 Prove me wrong, boys. I think we'll do fine tonight, need to stay focused and not panic, even if we go down a goal. We went down two goals before against the sharks and came back for the win, we can Win this game no problem. Sharks will come out strong, need to come out even stronger and take it to them.
