That penalty shot was simply horrible.

I really thought the Senators were going to send the Ducks packing in this series, but they are really not living up to their ability. Whether the Ducks win the cup or not (which of course they are going to), the Senators should have made it more of a series than 4-1.

Staal is better than all 3 of those guys. We'll talke when one of them puts up 100 points in only his 2nd season in the league.

Cam Ward and Andrew Ladd also have promising futures. And while some guys, like Brind'Amour and Whitney are old, they are still dominant players in the league. They have just as bright of future as Anaheim. And they are also a much classier team.

Well i'll take 3 potential great players over 1. Carolina has just as bright a future? Oh come on now! Staal is great i'll give you that, but that is way off the mark. Dont forget about Bobby Ryan, #2 overall pick from 2005.

Shoot, I never turned it on (prods Yahoo NHL page) -- the best way to hit the NHL (and Ducks) on this is turn the channel and hurt the ratings even more.

Hehe, I agree. They do have more young players then Carolina. Staal is still miles ahead of them all, but he's only one person. Anaheim does get the benefit of the doubt.

I think the only way to get me interested in an Anaheim/Ottawa match-up would be a series come back at this point. It wouldn't matter who won game 7, because I'm not that biased against a Ducks championship.

But that doesn't say much for the two teams, because any series that's 'up for grabs' becomes interesting.
