Nice shot of Scott and Selanne hugging each other. I've liked Scott for a long time, and it's nice to see Teemu have his day

(keep telling yourself that, and maybe it won't hurt so much when Pppp...PPPrrrrr...He Who Shall Not Be Named frenches the Holy Grail... *sigh*)

I'm with you. Neither Burke nor Pronger deserve to be under the same roof with the Cup... but what can you do? I am glad for Teemu, and will check websites for pics of him with the Cup tomorrow, so as to avoid seeing that thug, Pronger, touching it.

there are no fans in Anaheim.. they don't know what the heck happened. they have no clue. this team was made after a fricking disney movie. they do not even know...

Am I the only one who thinks that J.S. Giguere was the most valuable player of the playoffs? If we are being perfectly honest do the Ducks make it that far without him? They gave him the award when he lost the cup, but won't give it to him again when they win?????

You might be a little bit wrong there-- the fans had the great good sense to double their level of cheering after Teemu took the Cup from Whats-Its-Name!

Giggy only had to stand in front of 11 pucks to win the Cup? What a travesty. Oh, well, when's training camp?

September 13th, loo.

Remember when we all were kids, watching the Cup finals on CBC or whatever station, and it was important? It ain't here. Sorry NHL - southern ice hockey teams add no interest factor to the tradition and dream of the Stanley cup.

I agree, sadly. There's not a lot to believe in any more and this just chips away at one more thing. I am very disappointed in the NHL for letting the game deteriorate the way it has.

I hope so too, it really should. The guy certainly made his mark on the season, its not like he was some nobody who didnt contribute anything.

They may as well hold a drawing, instead of letting the teams play...I bet it would work out the same
