After carolina advanced to teh cup final in 02, the cup was at our mall. I touched it, and read off the 98 wings team. It was taken at First Horizon Park in Greensboro, NC after the Canes won...and, if I remember right, two days after Stevie retired. Walt Neubrand gave me crap for wearing an Yzerman jersey (I mean...come on...this is the guy who idolizes Lanny McDonald)...as well as a couple of redneck pricks. For the Red Wings fan hockey season is year round it just has stages...Training Camp season, preseason, regular season, PLAYOFFS!!!, who's coming back season, draft season, and free agency season! When the Wings won any of their three Cups, I can't imagine bothering to go to an Avalanche or Stars site to gloat about the Cup and posting pics of it in numerous threads. See, when you go to the fan site of a team you beat in the Conference finals and create a thread and say "to end it on a good note I'll leave you with this," then post a pic of yourself holding the Cup, to me you just seem like a dick.
