I'm not sure what's to get into, do we need a goalie or something? ;)

Well, if Kenny is intrested in any of the UFA's that are left, for example, Karyia, he might be able to swing something like a 3rd rounder for his rights. Outside from something of that nature, I don't see anything Kenny would be intrested in. And that would be a far fetched deal, IMO.

I think he was reffering to acquiring one of there players.

And I would love to snag Karyia, he wants to play for a cup contending team, well Nashville is way out of the race now, and he would fit in good here I think. I know hes small, but that wrist shot of his, hes clutch sniper, which I think we also need, besides some big bodies.

So what does that spell R-E-T-I-R-E-M-E-N-T for The Eagle?

Lmao

I think it just might, unless he begs an pleads to be traded to some other garbarge team like L.A. to be happy to have the starting job, only to find out when the season starts his ass will be wariming the bench backing up Garon.

Yeah, so we might as well trade Dats, Rex, Flip, Draper....

I'm pretty sure those players showed the ability to play gritty and stand up to 3 of the toughest teams in the league this year. Kariya...not a chance.

Belfour is a UFA.

Oh, that's right, Karyia has never led his team to the SCF or anything. He has no heart, and no talent. He is a bum.

I think it's pretty safe to say Giguere led that team to the SCF. And when did I ever question his heart or talent? The argument was based on his toughness and ability to stand up to bigger, grittier teams.

Lets face it, little Paulie would've ran into the dressing room during the final minutes of game 5 in the Calgary series with his tail between his legs...

HOLY SMOKES!!! that's crazy. but the thing is ... doesn't Nashville have to at least meet the minimum cap? They can't go under $32 million, I think. This puts them down to like $28 million now, doesn't it? who's left on Nashville that we'd want? Zidlicky, maybe?

Maybe they'll be willing to take on bad (but expiring next year) contracts in exchange for draft picks. That way, they'd meet the salary floor but still be able to get something for their troubles?

Yup, just like he did after Stevens light him up in that same SCF.

Or wait, I think he did come back and score a pretty huge goal...

Just because someone doen't get into the physcial stuff doesn't mean he is a *****. He isn't that type of player. How often do you see Pav get in someones face? Exactly, you don't. It isn't his game. Same with Karyia.

That's what they'll probably do .and that's what making me think they're selling up. They had just built a contender and are stripping it bare .

Has the offical buyout of Yashin gone through yet? If not, I'd make a call to Nashville if I am Garth Snow. Never hurts to ask, right? LOL

I'm pretty sure Datsyuk didn't back down from anyone this year. He went into the corners, went to the net, and actually took a lot of hits in order to make plays. Kariya did nothing of that nature against SJ this year. Gotta give it your all for 3 rounds if you plan on making it to the SCF. I don't think Kariya got that memo this year.

Hahahahaahaha! This is fantastic. Suprising, but fantastic. I did not see this coming. Chris Mason is a very solid goaltender and all. But he's no Vokoun. The preds will find out all about that next season. :sly:
