Think of all the remaining free agents that are still out there and who the Red Wigns might sign or have a shot at getting any player. He'll take a while I think to make a decision to even play next season with his foot. Hasek should sign tomorrow or tuesday. Bertuzzi is looking at offers. Its possible, if he really does want to come back to Detroit, that we could still land Kozlov with 3 per. We might be able to get Guerin for that number too. Bert and/or Guerin with carefully crafted contracts would be nice. Especially both. I really dont get why people are so hung up on Kozlov. I mean, I don't have any inside information, but I haven't heard of any ego or behavior problems with the Wings. Everyone seems to get along really well and click. Is Shanahan going to come back and expect to be queen of the ball? If so, no thanks, though we miss his slap shot. I say let's keep our eyes on the future and not get too nostalgic.
