Sucks to be Bell. He deserves to be put behind bars. He could have KILLED someone. Drunk driving, plus hit and run?? He absolutely deserves what he gets. Then maybe next time he'll think twice before putting other people's lives in danger.

While I also hate preferential (sp) treatment that's given to celebs, Paris didn't exactly hit and run causing injury to another driver though. IMO he got lucky himself. If that were me it'd be probably a year and they sure as hell wouldn't wait til after hockey season. This guy is garbage, I remember when he was getting the Witt, Hall, Asham, Doan treatment around here. People were just dying to get this guy in a Wings uniform. hahahha!

On a more serious note, Mark's career has been such a dissapointment. He was a very promising hockey player at one time.

I totally agree , anybody who's willing to get behind the wheel and drive while drunk should get punished , he's endangering innocent peoples lives by being stupid.

I sure the hell wasnt. I was one who agrued against having this bum in the winged wheel. I would have been so pissed if Kenny would have signed him. But obviously Kenny was smart enough not to. I hope Bell has fun in his cage for a half a year. Then maybe next time he blasts someone with his car, he will stop and help. Instead not giving a s*** and speeding off. What a bum.

This is his 3rd or 4th alcohol related offense. He had a prior DUI and apparently beat up a cabbie once while drunk.

I believe Paris' big issue was driving with a suspended license, which isn't quite as weighty of an issue as DUI, injuring another driver, and fleeing the scene (he walked off).
