Grig is massive for his height think about Bert was what 6'3 235 this guy is 5 inch's shorter and only 25 pounds lighter. I really hope he hasn't been hyped up to the point that he just won't be able to succeed even the coachs from what I have read thought about top 6 minutes before this guy has stepped on the ice. I don't get why everyone is hating on Maltby so bad, he has really cost us anything, he does a good job on the penalty kill and is a great veteran/teacher. For a 4th liner or grind liner I can't think of many better to teach the youth then Maltby/ Drake type players, through in some Chelios we are gonna have a lot of tough guys soon. Ryno, Kindl, Ericsson. Sorry just got a little off subject, excited for the season, anyway I think Maltby is still worth keeping around as long as he knows his role and is willing to do whatever he has to do to better the team; and I believe Maltby is willing to do that. If so, not sure how you can put his size in perspective without seeing him around other players. What are you talking about? I would never assume the general populace on the boards are up to date on a semi-obscure prospect's vitals. Out of sight out of mind for many around here. I would chaulk it up to wishful thinking... Centre Ice doesn't go live until opening night.
