Manny stayed on the ice to give everyone an autograph. I would have got one, but he was on the other side of the ice. only down side is they kick you out at like 1pm to close the garage, then if you miss it you screwed. lol. But its always fun. HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted September 29, 2007 (edited) Just got back from practice, and it was great. Quincey skated for a while so that was awesome. Nick, Babs, and Holland talked to the crowd after practice. It was funny cause when Holland got up there a fan yelled 'YEAH BABY THE WINGS ARE BRINGING THE CUP BACK HOME!' and then Kenny just started laughing. Ooh and did I mention.. I MET OZZIE AGAIN!!! He signed my hat, and replica Wings jersey. All I need him to sign now is my Isles jersey and im good to go. He stayed out so long signing for EVERYONE. He's amazing. I couldn't believe how long he sat out there signing stuff for people. I kinda felt bad how everyone was just handing him stuff left and right. My highlight was after practice when Dats signd my shoe and took a picture with me while he was in his car .
zettsyukwall415 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2007 I'm so glad I went. It was fun watching Homer trying to deflect pucks the defensemen shot. Lidstrom almost hit him in the head! I liked how Datsyuk, Filppula, and Zetterberg were playing keep-away almost the whole time there. I tried to get my brother to go (big Datsyuk fan) but he said it would be too boring. Now he's upset he didn't go when I told him I got Datsyuk's autograph. I came so close to getting Draper's and I stayed to the very end to get Hank's (3rd time). I wish they did more of these open practices.

Elshupacabra 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 (edited) Datsyuk has a black Scion, looks like a box, I didn't see him after the practice but I did see him driving into the gate before the game, he was with Girgs and Dats waved at me! It was an awesome thing to go to, I was a little worried when Homer took that puck up high and then skated off the ice, but he played later that night. so he must be pretty okay. OH YEAH!, I was hanging outside JLA for quite a while before the game and all the players drove in, in their SUVs mostly in pairs and then all of a sudden, a green taxi van rolls around the cornor and pulls into the parking lot, and out walks Jiri Hudler!!! He took a Taxi to the game ha ha ha Edited September 30, 2007 by Elshupacabra
