terri27 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Dear baby jebus- please make Zetterberg score twice tonight off of Datsyuk. Also, I'd love to see Z get a few assits as well, but two goals is fine as well. If you can only get one goal in there how about throwing 2 or 3 assists in there as well? Thanks, Marcus Dear Marcus, I will try to meet your wishes cause I like ya so much. It should be done but my arch enemy baby sattan has put in moronic refs to oppose my well doings. Plus baby jebus also has a bit of a tummy ache. Sincerely, Baby jebus.
Wingfan191 2 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 big save by Dom there, if that one went in, this game would be over for sure. We NEED the next goal here, we get down 3-1, we're not coming back with the way these west coast refs are getting paid by the league to keep us down
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 (edited) big save, Dom... I hate those last second goals, and a goal on that shot would have finished us. This game is certainly not the same effort we saw in San Jose, too bad. Edited October 21, 2007 by puckloo39

omnipotent_hudler 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 worst officiating i have ever seen in my entire ******* life. I hope the refs stop sucking the Coyotes dick long enough to drown in their own vomit. Datsyuk, what the HELL are you doing in the neutral zone, THREE turn overs to almost every god damn scoring chance they've had. and oh, duuuuurrrr Hasek, want to make a god damn save once in a while? Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 (edited) Ugh. Why is it that the Wings always manage to play their worst against terrible teams? The reffing is also homerism at it's worst. If you're going to be pillow soft about the goaltender interference, at least call it both ways. The Coyotes 2nd goal could have just as easily been goaltender interference as the Wings 2nd goal that got called off. The Wings better pick it up. They don't do very well on Saturday night for some reason. Edited October 21, 2007 by Kp-Wings
terri27 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Love to see Homer get a hattrick tonight I'm waiting for Homer to get in position in front of the goalie, turn around and just knock him on his butt, then look the ref in his eyes and say "Tha's interference!" RedWingsFanatic 4 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 I know this has been discussed to death, but the combination of the two calls on Holmstrom and then the non-call on the second Phoenix goal is just utterly ridiculous and unexplainable. You can't call penalties based on reputation, and I firmly believe that's what is happening with Holmstrom in front of the net. It's just incredibly frustrating to have penalties called when there is literally NOTHING to be called. It's not just a case of bad call, but a call in which the infraction is completely make believe. Anyway, I'm not very worried about the 2-1 deficit here. The Wings should by all accounts, at least be tied. They'll be alright.
Wingfan191 2 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 is anyone recording this game and able to get the Homer "interference" and "elbowing" penalty up on youtube??? I need to show this to some people.

Sevumar 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 Ugh. Why is it that the Wings always manage to play their worst against terrible teams? That's just it, the Wings aren't playing a terrible game. They're dominating Phoenix in just about every way -- one look at the stats will tell you that. This game should be 2-1 the other way around.
RedWingsFanatic 4 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 i wonder if these Arizona Wings fans know what state Detroit is in. sorry, had to. I'm willing to bet that most of those "Arizona Wings fans" are originally from Michigan. I know that when I attend games with my family in southern California, the majority of the other Wings fans there have direct ties to the Detroit area. auxlepli 17 Report post Posted October 21, 2007 (edited) On the Coyotes second goal, Kal and Woods were saying that one should have disallowed too because a Coyote was in the blue area like Holmstrom was, I mean wasn't. At this point, I'd rather watch college football than watching a game the league is trying to command. You just never saw this crap as often in the old NHL. It's bizarre.
