That's what I want to see, Sammy gets a goal, Huddles gets a goal, scores from our boys who've been struggling are soooooo good (and relieving) to see! ^_^

Very valid point there. It is nice to see the 2nd line scorining keeping this game going for us, especially against a goalie like Luongo.

Hudles? Babcockles? What time is it where you are, RS? :D

I am very tired, here, just can't wait for tomorrow morning and database hell at work. Now the Wings have made this a game, I have to stay up for the rest.

It is 12:16 am and I have an Anatomy and Physiology test tomorrow. But GO WINGS GO!

And the babcockles is a nickname I gave babcock based off of a tenacious D quote.

That Hudler goal was outstanding, and he's really started to break out of the box in these last few games. It's really nice to see and it's going to be vital to the success of this team that he continues to play at this level.

Outside of about a five minute stretch there in the second, the Wings continue to play solid, defensively-conscious hockey. I don't think I've ever felt confident in a one-goal lead in Vancouver, but I feel confident tonight. The Canucks are a bit of a mess, but the Wings aren't making things easy on them. It's a pleasure to watch the team on a role like this.

Thanks! I've been lurking here for about a year. Finally got up the courage to post.

This has been a great game to watch! I'm loving it.

Hey, welcome welcome! I was the same as you, so I know how you feel, I lurked for a long time, too :P

what a "bottle knocker" goal (thanks Murph) by rex hudler! that was beautiful

still think the nucks are gonna come out with fire power in the 3rd yet, they've looked on par with the Wings all night.

look out for the 3rd, should be some good hockey.

So I sliced his f-ing cockles with my long and shiny blade?

Am I the only one who thinks the 'Nucks 2nd goal would have been waved off if it were the Wings with Holmstrom there? Not saying it shouldn't have counted, but damn...

Agreed. Hudler seems to be finding his comfort zone, and he is producing in it. Filpulla as well, and as those two go so does the Sammy, and all 3 look great. I don't even want to break those 2 lines up for Franzenstein...

Dear baby jebus,

Please make Zetterberg score off Dats tonight at least once. A few more helpers for Zetterberg and Dats couldn't hurt either.

Thanks little guy,

Marcus

Where did Edi go? I hope he's recording this one. I just looked at the rec function on my DVR and realized it stopped recording at some point, not sure when. Dang it.

I'll be watching the 4rd, I'm just celebrating with some good drink right now. *raises a glass to the Sox* :D

That Rafalski signing is really looking like a good move, he's a more complete player than Schneider was. Being buried in Jersey's defensive style all these years I never really noticed his skills but he's a very talented and smart D-man. He's an American Lidstrom and I'm glad he's here and locked up for a while.

Anyone have the skinny on Groinwall, er I mean KRONwal? How serious? When will he be back? He was playing well right before he went down... that guy needs a new conditioning coach... or a rabbits foot or something.

He needs to train with Chelios or something.
