toby91_ca 620 Report post Posted November 10, 2007 Great game. Both of these teams look pretty damn good. Other interesting thing, sounds like there is a lot more Habs fans at the game than Senator fans (the game is in Ottawa). I suppose that shoudln't be too surprising since Montreal is only about 2 hours away and I would guess almost everyone from Ottawa would have been a Habs fan before Ottawa joined the league. Earthhuman 8 Report post Posted November 10, 2007 Boring game. Montreal is a terrible team to watch. I've been saying, "Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! For the love of God, Shoot! Yes- oh, he missed the net." Huet is exciting, though.
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted November 10, 2007 Seems like a perfect time for the Wings to ****** up Ryder. He's right- wait until the second period's over and BAM! Throw a pillowcase over his head and smuggle him over the boarder to D-town!

toby91_ca 620 Report post Posted November 10, 2007 Boring game. Montreal is a terrible team to watch. Huh? I guess I'm an idiot because this is the best game I've seen so far this year and I've seen a lot.

SweWings 45 Report post Posted November 10, 2007 Ok so Alfy scores a lot of empty netters - or is that just me? (No stats backing me up - just impression) Doesn't have to be negative, just shows how well-rounded he is as a player - like Zetts i spose but older...and red-headed and you know what Cartman says about red-heads... BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted November 10, 2007 Huh? I guess I'm an idiot because this is the best game I've seen so far this year and I've seen a lot. Same here. I heard a stat on XM radio's feed that well into the 3rd period, there had only been 28 faceoffs so far in the game! By comparison, the recent Montreal-Boston game finished with 71 faceoffs. Incredible action in this game, just great to watch.

I suppose that shoudln't be too surprising since Montreal is only about 2 hours away and I would guess almost everyone from Ottawa would have been a Habs fan before Ottawa joined the league. It's the same when the Leafs visit Scotiabank Place. They seem to have more fans and are louder too.
kylee 727 Report post Posted November 11, 2007 Montreal was 3rd in the league overall?? i missed that memo. i watched the game, it was pretty good for a low scoring game until the late 3rd period. better team won but due to the lack of scoring, it was stil physical and entertaining. watching toronto and new york right now...
