russianswede919293 95 Report post Posted November 12, 2007 Does anybody know why the Wings let him go. He is only 24 years old, and is a restricted free agent. Was it something on his end, wanting too much money, a one way deal, or something on managements end, thinking he wasn't good enough to stay in the system? He signed with LHC and is playing pretty well. STATS I was just wondering if anyone knows the scoop.
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted November 12, 2007 He's like a talentless version of Hudler. No reason to re-sign.

Coyote0106 2 Report post Posted November 13, 2007 Here's my guess. Himelfarb was quick, but his speed got him no where. He could rush down the ice, beat everyone, then he would lose control of the puck. He would make a move and lose the puck, hell, he would try to slow down and lose the puck. It was finally time to let him go, he wasn't learning.
