Jersey lettering/numbers

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

Anyone know a good place to go for some NHL jersey lettering/numbering? I got a blank Habs that I'm looking to personalize. I want it to be identical to the one they use, no cheap rip off.

Thanks in advance for any info.

P.S. I'm sure this has been brought up before but the search function seemed a bit off.

any local shop that has an account/membership with STAHLS.

they do the official lettering for the NHL and MLB.

i just got my Wings white done, and they got it done exactly how it should look, which is nice because the Wings are producing some non-authentic stuff these days.

it should run you about 80-100 bucks, because of the 3 colored lettering the habs use.

Just an FYI - remember it's not the Wings that are producing the jerseys with the wrong lettering, it's Reebok and the league.

But yeah, any reputable shop that does lettering can do authentic lettering for you. I know The Goalie's Den in Troy used to do it. I haven't been there lately, but you can always give them a call. Good luck! :)

Thanks for the info. Couple more questions:

1. Does that 80-100 bucks include all three sets of numbers? (Back and on each arm)

2. Any place closer than Livonia? I'm in Troy. Troy Sports Center doesn't do it, do they?

**Edit- Overlooked the Goalies Den in Troy. Anywhere else?

Anyone know of a place online? I'm looking to personalize a Quad City Mallards Jersey, (They were the Mallards before the Flames) and I know that most people around here are from Detroit, and I am not so that is why I ask for an online site.

I think any place that does authentic lettering ought to be able to do it for any team. I had been planning on getting a Peterborough Petes jersey with Yzerman's name and number and had been talking to the guys at the Goalie's Den to do it. I never got it though, for various reasons. However, they did all of my Team Canada jerseys (World Cup 1996, Olympics 1998 and 2002).
