If the game goes to OT, you can bet there will be a shootout. Why waste effort with seven other bodies on the ice when you have a de facto breakaway you can scroe on Another reason I hate shootouts. I couldn't believe the Wings let the game vs. the Oilers go to shoot out, when they had to know the Oilers are freakish in wins in SO. They really need to get with it here, time is running out. I think we've been redirected to the wrong message forum? We're number 1 team in the league, correct? We don't need to be #1 and 20+ points ahead of the 2nd team in the league to make the playoffs right? Who cares if we lose some meaningless games while bringing our #1 back into game form?
