YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 That's the stuff we're going to need from Huds down the stretch. Youre telling me. His scoring pace over the last 25 games is good enough for a 60 point season!
terri27 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 Well then i guess you don't blame him for any goals. It is always someone elses fault. He gets paid to do a job he is there because mistakes happen and he has to be able to help the team but so far he is proving he can't help the team and we can't count on him Maybe he's reciprocating what he gets or did you fail to see the turn overs that the other WIngs made that kept the puck there when it should've been at the other end of the rink? YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 Exact reason we need more then 1 enforcer.. Downey cant be everywhere at once.. Why does Downey need to be everywhere at once? He needs to be out there to get after those big tough guys like Svatos, Hejduk and Liles??
FinRedWing 172 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 Evening guys! Looks like I've missed out on few goals by Filppula. Filp has been playing like Homer tonight. fighting for position in front of the net, digging the puck out of the corners... Good to hear...
IceMunkee 15 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 Yikes, he was almost responsible for one there... Yes he was.... WOW! Well then i guess you don't blame him for any goals. It is always someone elses fault. He gets paid to do a job he is there because mistakes happen and he has to be able to help the team but so far he is proving he can't help the team and we can't count on him No it is not always someone else's fault. It is who's fault it is. The best goalie in the world gives up rebounds, that is why there is d-men. If goalies never gave up rebounds then there would be no reason for the d at all!!!!! The best goalie in the world gives up rebounds, that is why there is d-men. If goalies never gave up rebounds then there would be no reason for the d at all!!!!! Haha. Did you just insinuate that the only reason defenseman play is to clear away goaltenders rebounds? Silly me - I though it was to make it harder for the opposing teams forwards to get through the neutral and offensive zones.
haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 Lebda's definitely got great speed. He's a big help getting the puck out of the zone and counteracting the trap. He needs to work on his playmaking once he's blown past everybody though. Usually it leads to a broken play or a low percentage scoring chance.
