I have a crazy feeling tonight...I really believe Filppula is going to get a hat trick tonight. That boy is on one heck of a scoring streak. Heck, Datsyuk didn't even assist on either goals! Way to Val!

Surprising to see Rafalski giving up the puck like that. I knew they were going to score after that give away. I know Hasek wants that one back, but he's playing pretty good right now. He'll bounce back.

Good effort so far tonight.

Yeah, it was hard to tell from the replays, but I never saw anything that looked like it hit Cleary.

I thought it was off Budaj, then the Av defenseman's skate.

Either way, that goal was all due to the hard work from Flip. Protecting the puck and refusing to get knocked off it. It's great to see.

I think you're right, Harold. Flip is being credited for it now, assist from Kronner

i have reason to believe Osgood would have stopped that weak goal. I am starting to think we are better off with Osgood in net. I actually feel more comfortable during a game when he is in goal actually.

It's a goal you want your goalie to stop, to bail your team out after a mistake. But I wouldn't call it weak. The guy was in all alone.

I will agree about feeling more comfortable with Ozzy between the pipes though.

Flip with 2 goals, Kronner with 2 assists (that second assist was huge).

Kronners really patented that side step move at the blueline. I love it. Dont look now but Kronners only 4 points from last seasons point total. He could hit 40 points by seasons end..

Terrible play by Raf. I think he was looking right through that Avs defenseman. After the goal you could see him looking up at the screen watching the replay, shaking his head.

McLeod's goal is listed as unassisted. They forgot to give Raffi the assist. <_<

That was bad, I just watched the replay on FSD. Dom wants the goal back, but not as bad as Rafalski wants that giveaway back. He will make up for it (I hope...)

Yeah the official game summary has changed too.

http://www.nhl.com/scores/htmlreports/20072008/GS020551.HTM

I think it's a mistake though because Cleary doesn't even have an assist on the first goal.

Haha why would he get an assist if he didnt get the goal? If he hit the puck, it hit him last. He got a goal, or he got nothing. Im surprised Lidstrom didnt get an assist on that first goal if Flip got it. He was the one who passed off the puck to Nik Jr.

Great save DOm.

The clock was how the Avs count.

Keep addin on time til they're in the lead then when they are all of a sudden the games is over.

He's got 3 goals and 3 assists and is +5 playing eight minutes a game. He may not be lighting up the scoreboard, but he's hardly sucking.

If your not scoring your hittin

if your not hittin your scorin

if your doing neither of it you suck.. and kopecky as much as i used to like him.. isnt doing much good at all.. Slow as hell.. id rather have Ellis or Hartigan in full time over Kopecky.

Is it just me or has the 4th line played a lot tonight? or is it just that theyre always getting burned in the offensive zone that i notice them. Either way, babs needs to shorten his bench. Colorados offense is simply too deep to be playing bottom line guys so liberally.
