auxlepli 17 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 Don't know about parking. I took a cab from the hotel to the arena. I'll be interested in hearing what you think of the arena and surroundings when you return.
Icer 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 From the United Center website... Parking: The United Center has 6,000 spaces in 11 parking lots surrounding the arena. Parking costs are as follows: Cars $15, $20 & $30; Limousines $25; RVs $25; Buses $25. All prices subject to change. I've never parked there myself so I'm not sure how fast it fills up. I always took the Metra downtown and took a cab from the station.

CrossCheck24 2 Report post Posted January 4, 2008 Ive been to 2 Blackhawks games in the past 3 weeks. The first game I went to we had a parking pass, and the second we did not. For the second game parking was easy, but we were pretty early. Too bad we left early, because it was the game that the hawks were throwing sticks/equipment into the stands. Its pretty cool that they drown out the Star Spangle Banner with cheers...and they have those nice ice girls...I can't wait to go on Sunday...
shannyfan1414 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2008 It's a great place to see the Wing play. We whent back in 05 to the game right before Xmas. The fans were super nice before the game and during most of the game, becasue the Hawks were winning. After we came back from two down and won the game, the fans became evil. We were both weraring our wings jerseys and were told how much we sucked. We had beer thrown at us and a couple of nice gentlemen offered to rearrange my face. I didn't take them up on the offer. Have fun at the game and be ready for all of the detroit sucks chants that the crowd loves to do.

Mudvayneowns91 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2008 (edited) I think it is hilarious when opposing fans are like "Red Wings suck!". It's like we're the first place team by like 3 games(if the Sens win their 2 games to get to 41). So if we "suck" that must mean the other 29 teams in the league are so pathetic. But then I just assume they don't know crap about hockey. Edited January 4, 2008 by Mudvayneowns91

Their not going to sit there and ride the Wings coattails all game and say how awesome they are if that's what your thinking. Heck, I'd be ashamed if they did that. It would make them pretty terrible fans, for one thing.

I can't say they are lying.
