First and foremost, -Pascal Leclaire got screwed, Legace over him?? give me a break.

Even Ilya Bryzgalov would have been a better pick than Legace, no offense to him.

Pronger shouldn't have made it in my opinion.

-Nikolai Zherdev should have been their.

-Paul Kariya?

-Brian Rolston

(Jonathan Toews if he wasn't hurt)

(Ryan Smyth if he wasn't hurt)

i agree with most of your picks, but Patrick Kane's numbers aren't good enough this year for a All Star Game pick in my opinion.

Rafalski should be there and Pascal Leclaire should be there

And so what if 5 players are from Detroit...Detroit is the #1 team. We have the best stats. It means we have the best players...

hes got 39 pts in 43 games as a rookie , i think he could of gone

henrik sedin has 42 pts

arnott 36 pts

nash 37

gaborik 40

kane definetly could of been at the all star game , and it would of been nice for the nhl to showcase some of the up and comers , especially since kane is in a big city like chicago

Agree on both.

I still can't get over the fact that Legace is going. He has put OK numbers this season. I don't think that he is All Star worthy just yet. I think you could make a better argument to have added Hasek. Which would have been sweet to have Ozzie start the game and then Hasek close the game. I'm willing to bet that two teams have never sent two goalies and i doubt it will ever happen. But man that would be kind of cool IMO.

I think Toews and Kane are one year out from being in the game. They'll likely end up in the young stars game, which should be a great one this year!

Rafalski lives in Nick's shadow, not such a bad place to be. He gets to play in Detroit instead of NJ, so maybe that's enough of a reward for him. j/k

Pascal got screwed, maybe because he plays for Columbus, small market team? I dunno, there's no logic to some of the decisions. The fans who voted for Dom and LeClaire wasted their time.

Nabokov, I assume is there because they needed a goalie from the West coast of the western conference. Otherwise all the goalies for the West would have been from Central and that wouldn't have been "representative" of the league.

I am just making stuff up now. :hehe: I have no idea how or why they pick the reserves, but I am glad Ozzie's going -- he will have a blast with Nick, Dats, and Hank.

Pronger shouldn't have made it in my opinion.

5th in scoring amongst defensemen while playing for a team that is 18th in goals for and plays more than any other player in the league.

Not only is he an all star, I would bet he will be a Norris finalist as well.

I can't believe Henrik Sedin got a jersey instead of Daniel. Has anyone seen him shoot? It doesn't happen often but when it does, you can see why he seldom shoots. Henrik's a very good player and all but if you're gonna choose one, you choose Daniel. That's my opinion anyway.

Rafalski, Ribeiro and Leclaire all got jibbed also.

And whoever said Cammalleri.. uh... no. The guy has like 6 goals in his last 30 games.

You really don't think Jiggy deserves to go do you??? Not over the three picked plus a couple others.

For sure Pascal got a little shifted but he has some really bad games this year. Not many but a few. Still shoulda got the nod over Legace.

Nabakov definitly gets the nod over every goalie in the West besides Ozzy. He is an iron man goalie. If Legacy and all the others played as much as Nabs they would not have the numbers they have now.

The thing that amuses me is Henrik making it over Daniel. AWESOME. Yeah, Ribeiro, Huselius, Leclaire, Henrik, and Rafalski were the 5 that got jipped.

I think they should let both of the Onion Twins go and make them share a jersey, each plays half the time. heh~

I am not a big Ribiero fan at all, I still remember him diving and whining in Montreal, he was disgusting. He's found a niche with the Stars. They love him to death there and sometimes it just takes a change of scenery.

Pascal should have gone since the fans voted him in, but life isn't fair and the voting as it turns out , doesn't mean much. A week (or two days) after the game, no one will remember it anyway. Or at least I won't. :hehe:
