interminded 1 Report post Posted January 22, 2008 ASG wise it's not that big of a loss.. Malkin is spectacular. For Pittsburgh it's tough one to swallow, that's for sure.
Yzerfan1999 81 Report post Posted January 22, 2008 Not that I'm glad he's injured but I'm sick of hearing about him.....the nhl doesnt revolve around sid the kid like it or not it pretty much does. Too bad for him and Pittsburgh. I feel bad for all the people in visiting cities who bought tickets hoping to see him play. Seeing Pitty play without the kid just isn't the same - this kinda stuff hurts the NHL.
shannyfan1414 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2008 So at this point i'm assuming that he broke his ankle. I have not read anything that confirms or denies and i have not searched to far. I'm not a sid the kid fan but i feel for him. Glad that Malkin is getting the chance to go. I hope that the ASG is good one without Sid and that the world sees what a great sport it is. IF they want offense well they should get a chance to see some.

IF they want offense well they should get a chance to see some. The article says its a high ankle sprain in the first line, doesn't that mean its NOT a broken ankle? Or is my idea of a sprain completely wrong? If it was actually broken, I think he would be out closer to 3...
