I don't think it is huge at all. Sure, it will be a good test but in the grand scheme of things, it's not really that important. We have played the Mighty Ducks 3 times so far and beaten them twice. So we will finish either 3-1 or 2-2 against them. Plus the fact that we are missing Kronvall and Cleary and are playaing back to back. I'm not so sure what significance the game will have.

If we can win with both Cleary and Kronwall out, it's a good sign. If we lose a close game, it's not the end of the world. If we get blown out, THEN it's time to panic.

I ain't gonna lie though - I'm worried about this game. The rest of the hockey world (those that still insist the Ducks are a lock for the playoffs) thinks that we can't hang with the Ducks. I don't want them to be right.

Why is it that everytime the Wings hit a bump in the road most of this website panics. This team had climbed just about every hill in the NHL in the past 15 years, and yes we have stumbbled, but yet unlike most of the franchises we have picked ourselves back up. That is why we are called "HOCKEYTOWN"!! So if most of you are going to get down because we are missing two guys from the lineup, then don't bother calling yourselves Wings fans, because we have all been down this road time and time again, if there is one team that I would choose to travel this raod and come out on top it would be The DETROIT REDWINGS!!! This team has the biggest heart and talent. I expect that everyone put on some red today and yell and scream at the TV during the game and cheer this team on, let them know that we are behind them 100% (especially those of you going to the game) and lets knock off these DAMN DUCKS today and show Burke that he hasn't done s***!!! With Cleary out that means Sammy will get more ice-time on a 2nd line. He scored yesterday on a fluke goal, which is fine and great, maybe he realizes that he doesn't need 10 shots a game to feel like he is doing his job, just go to the net, hit along the boards and skate hard. Thats all any fan wants from Sammy. I feel that if he has a good game, the Wings will have a good game. The Wings have been getting away with some wins lately until L.A. and T.O so I expect a good effort today, but the fact that it is an afternoon game following an afternoon game, maybe that effort won't be so good. It's a tough call as to who will win, I am not going to bash the Wings like other Wing fans, this is what they need, a wake up call that they can't steal wins every game.

Game goes to S/O that is all I can predict.

if any of you guys are going to this game you NEED to be full throat for the Wings, and reactive to every solid hit and scram after

it seems to me, if there was ever a time the Wings needed the fans to really be into the game, and support, its today.

you know I am not getting baited but seriously, dont doubt the win cuz Ozzie is in net. The same Ozzie that let in four goals in the third to the Kings. I definitly don't doubt we will win and probably would have been more comfortable if Hasek would have played tonight but that is the silliest reason ever.
