Ozzie is supposed to jump forward to avoid the Ducks player, and allow him to score. New league rules, right? Woo..almost gave up a shortie. That would have been a backbreaker. The one who said it was a "reputation" call and tried to attribute the penalty to Chelios and Babcock complalining, until Olzcyck pointed out that they blew the call in that 2nd period. Nero 20 Report post Posted February 10, 2008 (edited) How do you figure I fail to see the issue here? Did I ever neglect the fact that the Wings are struggling. Here's the truth. The Wings haven't looked good the last 6 periods of hockey but their longest losing streak of the year is three games. Name another team out there that can best that. Every team goes through slumps, and the refs haven't helped this one. It's true the Wings need to make some moves at the deadline, but it's beyond annoying when people are happy-go-lucky when the Wings are on 8-game win streaks like they were last week, and then doom-and-gloom when they lose a couple. But winning them all isn't realistic. The problems in all of the games we lost have been consistent. Not enough defense, goalies letting in ridiculously soft goals, not enough offense, giving up two or more goal leads. It's these same problems every time we lose a game and it needs to stop. Nothing is changing. That is the problem. When we lose, it's almost always because of the same problems. Something has to change.
