Saran 1 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 I would not want to give up as much as the Penguins did for Hossa. Glad we didn't cause I don't know what our equivalent would be.

BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 Hossa to Pens CONFIRMED For Esposito, Armstrong, Christianson & possibly a 1st. Can't say that's a good thing. Esposito is a future second liner at least, Armstrong is character, depth, secondary scoring, Christenson same as Armstrong, and a the first rounder may even be better than all them guys. Atlanta benifitted in the long run.
Hank 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 espisito armstrong christiensen for hossa Great deal for both teams. I firmly believe Christianson can be a 70-80 point centre if given the right environment. I'd take him.

NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 Pens = Cup favorites. Not even close. You need a goalie and a defense to be the favorite.

Wings_Dynasty 267 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 Not even close. You need a goalie and a defense to be the favorite. Not if they score 10 goals every game.
Hank 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 Pitt did give up too much........No way that they will keep Hossa past this season......No way to keep Malkin, Hossa and Crosby I'll be shocked if Malkin is still a Penguin 3 years from now. He wants to be his own star and out of Crosby's shadow. Malkin to LA before he's 25.
