Franzen looks alright tonight, seems like he generated a few chances. He always shoots high tho...

 Stuff Sundin, let's go after Boyd!

Btw, is Maltby even playing? Seriously?

I'm glad someone laughed. But in all seriousness, if you want to talk about the future. Boyd is clearly the candidate.

Maltby played a little in the first....I think.

God this is like the worst feeling in the world to know your team is basically helpless and is not gonna win no wonder what they do. Usually the other teams' fans are the ones with this feeling, but I honestly have no hope that we will win any more games until we get kronwall and rafalski back as well as another scoring forward. No matter how banged up our D is, our forwards ARE NOT scoring goals. You can't win games if you don't score goals. It's like I have no faith that any other line besides the z/d/h line is going to even come close to scoring a goal when they're out there.

He and Flip have looked good together, generated some good chances. However, as per usual, no one can put the puck in the net.

Finally Sammy! Good time to wake up and give that frog a nice punch in the face.

Sammy is ueless but I will give him credit for standing up to the opposition, he's not afraid to get involved in the scuffles.

Yeah, I'm startin to really like Franzen, he's one of the few guys who seems to be really trying to make things happen out there. I really hope that Kenny makes sure to keep him around for the playoffs, because he'll be a pretty valuable 3rd liner I think.

With that said, are there seriously people here who still would do anything to keep Hudler? As far as I can tell, he doesn't have, at least right now, any of the crucial skills necessary for a little man to have success in the NHL. I'm not saying that he never will, but I just can't see him turning into a real impact player. And Filpulla, I still see pretty big things for him, but I would have zero problem sending him packing for Hossa, who's still a young fella himself.
