Krystal 41 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Not that we haven't had our share of bad calls - but I recall in every sport I've EVER played, coach drilled us into the ground to not stop playing until you hear a whistle. Same principles ought to apply to that last goal, as well as San Jose's flukey goal off the mesh in the last game. Ah, but with all the Buffalo players that piled onto Maltby while Pominville skated away with the puck, the whistle should have been blown due to roughing calls (with Buffalo in possession of the puck). While I agree the refs have been bad the past few games, every fan of every team thats losing notices tough calls more so than teams that are winning. puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Just got in, its great to see the wings with the lead how has the game looked? pretty good, until the entire shift decided to stop playing and start a scrum, allowing a 2-0 on Hasek. Would have been 3-1 without that nonsense. Sabres were not lucky, Wings were stupid... looked like something the Austin Ice Bats would have done. But I expect it from them. IT WAS THE REFEREES FAULT THAT A WHISTLE WAS NOT BLOWN LIKE IT IS IN EVERY OTHER SITUATION EXACTLY LIKE THIS ONE.
