There was a fight 5 seconds into the Flames game, so maybe the 3rd will be good. im gonna watch the end of the nucks game. im rooting for them to win and stay in the 7 seed. then ill be watching the sharks game which i forgot was on Versus. and of course, in that game ill be rooting for the coyotes. great game by the Wings, this felt like a playoff game, they got it done. In other games, Nashville beat Columbus 3-0 in a fight-filled game to get within a game of Colorado and Vancouver for the final spot. The Canucks are up 2-1 right now, a win would give them sole possession of 7th. San Jose and Phoenix are 0-0. Phoenix is still in the playoff hunt and San Jose has closed the gap on Detroit for the overall lead. Edmonton and Colorado are idle. (unless Hasek proves me wrong, which would not be a bad thing) What's the difference if we win the cup with Ozzie in net or win the Cup with Hasek in net? Boring game for the most part. Ozzie didn't have much to do, but came up big when he needed to. Legace played very well, 2nd star caliber. Too bad he plays for a stupid team, with dumb fans. I loved the Ozzie-razzing... jeering the guy who kept their smelly team in contention night after night. I hope Mule gets a goal per game from now on out. Downey and a Blue were ready to fight. Franzen, Kronwall and Z took a big hits. The last thing the Wings want is to get injured. While there weren't many offensive fireworks, the defensive game was good. It really looked like Detroit was in control the whole game, except for the last couple minutes. Call me crazy but I think the Wings are trying to hone their skills in clutch situations for the playoffs. They probably didn't want to blow out St. Louis if you ask me, to emulate high pressure situations. That's what I would do. I liked the defense. Packer487 3 Report post Posted March 26, 2008 San Jose lost in overtime. 8 points up and the Sharkies have 6 games left to play. 5 points in our last 5 games clinches it I can't wait for the playoffs to get here. As much as I love the Wings, I've had no desire to watch a game in about 2 weeks. I'm sick of playing these s***ty Central teams. I'm ready for a game to matter again.
