Zion 93 Report post Posted April 8, 2008 Is he ready? I seriously have NO problem with sitting ANY of the players for Game 1 if they're not absolutely ready.

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted April 8, 2008 Hudler - Draper - Abdelkader I really like that as a third line. It doesn't waste Hudlers offensive abilities entirely, and it also isnt a line that is a defensive liability by any stretch of the imagination. I could actually see that line putting up some points here and there unexpectedly.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted April 8, 2008 id have a problem if Nashvilel set the tone for the series and took the 1st game... If Brad Stuart is the difference between us being able to compete physically or not, then we've got bigger problems than Nashville just taking Game 1. Third Man In 2,091 Report post Posted April 8, 2008 "Samuelsson said he was counting himself in for Game 1, but the Wings like to have groin-injured guys go through at least three or four practices before returning, and there’s no rush to get Samuelsson back for Game 1, that’s for sure." lol Helene St James usually isn't this cruel Great news if Stuart really is ready. Redwingsfan18 1 Report post Posted April 9, 2008 This is great, Him and Kronner are one hell of a duo. Plus I really hope Mac and Downey play, put them on the 4th line with Drake or Hartigan (hopefully Drake) and that would be outstanding.

Sergeiwasmyfav 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2008 This is good news! However, I'm a little confused because Scotty said on the CBC preview show tonight that Stuart will not start Game 1. I hope the Freep article is right, but I'm not sure...
akustyk 84 Report post Posted April 9, 2008 good! now he can rock tootoo...please? the news is great but I'd rather see Wings ignore Tootoo. that is: watch out where this little bi* is and don't let him injure anyone. but don't let this little brat think his on-ice antics concern the Wings and take them off from their gameplan. that would force Trotz to look for different strategy. and frankly, other than by gooning and making it nasty those Preds will really have it difficult. skillwise there's a big gap between those two teams and if it's not for gooning it up, there's not much Preds can try to beat the Wings. hence, I'd rather take this strategy from them
