Another good game by Tootoo. He's scoring goals and not taking stupid penalties - in fact he drew dumb Wings penalties in both games. Preds fans have to be happy with his play, he's one of a very few bright spots for them so far this series.

Kid had 11 goals in 63 reg season games, now he nets goals in two consecutive games against us. It's about time somebody neutralize him, as nobody on the Wings has been able to yet.

I think sending Downey or Mac to scrap with Tootoo sends the message that we're a soft team of wimps. The guy is the size of Kris Draper and Juri Hudler - I don't know why one of them doesn't drop their gloves with him...

..wait, scratch that, yes I do. They'd get killed because Tootoo is remarkably tough and a very skilled fighter for his size. Dude deserves at least some props.

The Preds do have a light heavey in Darcy Hordichuk that Mac could fight (they're the same size) but I don't know why Mac would want to do that - Hordichuk won when they faught a few years back.

Tootoo jumps everytime he hits, if not for his dwarfism he would be getting penalties.

I guess he has to jump though or else his hits would be to the crotch.

He's 6'1, 215, same size as Mac....the size of the average enforcer in like 1988. Did he ever land a punch on Laraque? I remember them having 3 or 4 fights, but as I recall Laraque handled Hordi pretrty well every time. Did they have a go in the minors or preseason where Hordi TKO'd Big Gerorges or something?

whats funny is that everyone is all concerned about his cheap shots (tootoo) and dirty play and yet

If a player like Tootoo wants to play as he does, he should expect to get it back. Beating the snot out of him doesn't mean someone is a coward, it means Tootoo got what was coming to him.

I agree, although I think that the hit would be even more powerful if there were no words following. Tootoo, though a cheapshot artist would know what a great hit on him meant. I'm sure he's read what Mac had to say. And regardless of the fact that he scored on us, he knows the league has an eye on him. 2-0 Wings, can we ask for anything more?

IMO, Mac is only holding back from fighting because

a) he's still hurt a bit

or

b) Babs told him to lay off and not take a stupid penalty

I think Babs has told Mac to save it. If they wings are down in a game late, pick and choose your moments, Because if he throttles Tootoo when up 2 goals it does nothing, losing at that point does a ton for the Preds, even if he loses the fight and the wings are down, it can still be an emotional burst.

Even if on the road you have to imagine there will be a ton of Wings fans there, that will be one of the biggest jolts of energy, even more than the goal he scored!
