Alright--got out of the period. We were all expecting the Preds to turn it on, and they did. 2-2 thru 2 isn't so bad. The Wings just need to settle it down and not lose sight of the fact that they've got a great chance to take a 3-0 series lead in the 4rd!

Yeah, the Presidents Trophy winning team always beats the eighth seeded team 6-0 in 4 straight games every single playoff year.

You can't be happy that the Wings are up 2 games to none, you have to whine about the fact that they aren't winning by enough.

It is too early to tell, but if the Wings don't have a breakdown there, we'd easily win this game and the series with a sweep. However, now the Wings have to put up a superior 3rd period to turn things around. Thus, they've made it harder on themselves than what it should be.

Hell, with your reasoning, we'll be fine if we're up 2 games to 1, or even if it's tied at 2-2, since we'll still have home ice advantage. People are just bitching because this team has melted down in two consecutive 2nd periods.

Hopefully, it won't matter if we go on to win this game.

Just got back so I'm going to be watching the game now, I can see from the doom and gloom that Nashville tied it up rather than us coming back. Youg uys need ot relax, we've never trailed in this series and the only times we ever get in trouble are during 1-2 minute lapses were Nashville seems to always score even if it comes from a flukey bounce.

Either way Nashville can't finish, and they'll probably play a craptacular 3rd. The games tied, we're not losing so please let's everyone relax.

Need ZDH in the 3rd, and I know it sounds weird, but I can see us missing Maltby. He gives a good 12 minutes a night, physical, fast, provides a couple scoring chances. Filpula and Franzen need to step it up as well.
