Here's to all of us that had faith in our team and didn't turn off the game because "we sucked" or "The Preds will win." Here's to all of us that stayed positive through the back-to-back losses, did not try to strip Lidstrom's captaincy, did not try to fire Holland or Babcock, and did not want to trade the entire team. Here's to all of us that knew deep down we would pull it off. Here's to all of us who were confident, but not cocky: cautious, but not doubtful. And here's to all of us for staying loyal to our beloved team through all of the highs and lows. And here's to believing that we have the team that can win the cup. Enjoy tonights win guys. RedLightGoesOn 81 Report post Posted April 19, 2008 Its just two games... honestly you would think that a home team would win their first 2 at home.... being tied 2-2 after 4 games is not bad at all... sure it puts you at a must win for game 5, but in the playoffs, every game is a must win. I have confidence that we can win game 6..... On a side note... wouldnt it be odd if we beat nashville in 6, and then faced Calgary in the second round? Football, basketball, hockey, racing, you name it, and I have never heard an arena that pumped when Franzen scored. Did anyone see the postgame interview with Trotz? I am the same way, you just get so emotional, you can't control your thoughts anymore. Then when the dust settles, you realize they won and it's a great feeling. If i remember what Irequested right it is "WINGS 08" Cool! Mine say GOWINGZ. I had to get the Z because all the good ones were taken. On topic: I can't understand the negativity. Sure, one can say what they'd change as far as lines, or defensive pairings; or say who they'd like to trade for whom, but I don't get the gloom and doom stuff.
