Hossa 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Did Babs mention about the starter for tomorrow? Probably Ozzie cause he got the win ya think?
Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 (edited) I'm sure he'll play Ozzie though this series, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Dom start against the avs. It seems like the preds just know exactly how to score on dom. Who knows though. Edit: lol, noticed I'm getting ahead of myself with the avs Edited April 20, 2008 by Z and D for the C
Yzermania 156 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 (edited) in my opinion, when bacock said that ozzie was getting an opportunity and we'll see what he does with it, that was him saying if ozzie plays good, that he is now the go to guy for the team. I could be wrong, but I think untill ozzie has a bad game or a couple in a row, he is now the no. 1 goalie. Edited April 20, 2008 by Yzermania
Redwingsfan18 1 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Should be Ozzie but who knows. Regardless we should close it out tomorrow

Yzermania19 1 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 It's got to be Ozzie...IMO his play in Game 5 earned him the chance. Plus, with this game potentially being the series-clincher he can't risk putting Dom in and sending this thing to a Game 7.

Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 It looks like it's now Osgood's job to lose..... And then if he does, then it's Hasek's job to lose. And then if he loses again, it's Osgood's job to lose. And if he loses...

RedLightGoesOn 81 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 I would expect Ozzie would see this series through, its clear Dom needs a break and some extra practice.

Wing Across The Pond 196 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 if we go 3-0 up in next round i dont see why not putting howard in for a game... i mean is it just me or do rookies seem to be pretty good in playoffs??? its like they dont realise their in the post-season! Coaches probably tell them its a practice game and just send them out.

I know it has only been done twice (coming back from 3-0, but you don't F around in the playoffs. I really would love to see the Wings/Avs next round. That would be a great series, even if we lost it.

jvxp 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Did Babs mention about the starter for tomorrow? Probably Ozzie cause he got the win ya think? Ozzie will start. Dom may be done for the playoffs. If Ozzie gets on a role I could see Babs sticking with him.

Its more that hockey players know how to score on him. Hes not who he used to be. And Osgood has been a beast.
