Izzy24 44 Report post Posted May 3, 2008 Who had seriously predicted a sweep? I did, but only to my friends/family and Avs fans I know. I didn't on LGW because a bunch of people would have had heart attacks, now I wish I had.
GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted May 3, 2008 I did, but only to my friends/family and Avs fans I know. I didn't on LGW because a bunch of people would have had heart attacks, now I wish I had. I also predicted a sweep, and I believe I posted about it here on LGW over and over again. It was all easy to predict, because they were coached by Joel Queeerville, and they don't match up well against us. Plus, we swept them in the regular season. I knew they'd be lucky to even win a game. We'll also sweep Dallas if we play them.
denverswingsfan 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 There is no way to discount the mules scoring and if he keeps it up he will have a CS in the end. That said, Ozzy should be considered. His play has been increadable since he took over and I think the wings play better infront of him too. If he keeps playing at his level and the scoring even out, he may get the CS. Doggy 130 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 There is a poll for this exact question on NHL.com at the moment. Of course Franzen is the runaway leader and with good cause. My concern is that Samuelsson has 2.19% of the votes. Surely people would only be voting for him in jest.
RockyMountainWingGal 108 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 1. Jose Theodore 2. Peter Forsberg 3. Joel Quenneville I'm sorry I just have to get a few more licks in from that series.
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 1. Jose Theodore 2. Peter Forsberg 3. Joel Quenneville I'm sorry I just have to get a few more licks in from that series. Well if we're doing it that way, Joel Q in my opinion is #1 by a landslide. Seriously though, Franzen without question or hesitation.

Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted May 5, 2008 Franzen, Zetterberg, Osgood, and the entire Avalanche roster. This is all in the Wings sake. My concern is that Samuelsson has 2.19% of the votes. Surely people would only be voting for him in jest. There are enough people who actually still support him on this very forum, so I can't say that surprises me. Even after his performance during the last game, I'm still not buying anything he sells me. I still don't think Samuelsson is anything more than a crappy filler player, that, if anything, should be playing on a loser team like St. Louis or something. Yes, I hate him that much. My concern is that Samuelsson has 2.19% of the votes. Surely people would only be voting for him in jest. Isn't that what those polls are all about? Johan leads, as you said, with good cause. Why just add an insignificant "me too" when you can get people's shorts in a knot? What wonders me more is why they chose Sammy as an option in the first place, whilst ignoring the contributions of Downey, who has looked fabulous in warmups. <---being silly there. See pics of him goofing off in warmups for full understanding. I should probably add that I haven't voted there, and would choose Johan if I did.
