I doubt it. I dont even want to see him in this series unless it goes to game 6. But we cant depend on Philly to beat Pitts so us losing tonight isnt such a bad thing.

this is what I wrote in other thread but I thought it more suits this one so...

Let's not go crazy and start witching hunting.

We just need to win 1 game. We are in an excellent situation. I would have gladly taken 3-1 series lead before the series began. Also all I wished before we headed to Dallas was a split. So let's not turn against ourselves for some ridiculous reasons.

We aren't going to roll over anyone... but at the end of the day, I like our chances a lot better than other teams.

With Sammy on the team, it's hard to look at any positives. His dipsy doodling moves are fun when we're up by 3 goals, but tonight it wasn't very fun to watch.

5.Despite 1 through 3 we could've still won this game

why are ppl talking about Philli Pitts? who cares, we gotta go out and take care of business worry about the finals when its the finals.

Positives:

Think of how much different the message board would be if we won tonight to make the series 3-1, instead of losing.

I understand how emotions go up and down, but there's no reason to panic or be worried. We split in Dallas, we're up 3-1, and Game 5 is at The Joe where Turco has never won a game in the NHL. We're in control here.

The fourth win is always the hardest to win. As of now ANYONE has a chance to take the series. Wings lead the series 3-1 not 4-1 it is not over tell the fat lady sings.

I still wonder why the hell the Wings can't break that 10 win streak mark.

This really wasn't a surprise, I think some of us just didn't want to say it out loud. The Wings have this locked (eventually).

The key is: Can we finish it Saturday, and will that extra game screw us over against a fresh, rested, confident Penguins team? We all know the Pens will sweep, so they'll have a what....11-1 record? Well, the media will focus on how there are now chinks in the Wings armor, and all that talk about the unstoppable Wings who fall to 11-3 is over. Focus shifting to Pens.

What that means in the long run, I don't know.

But I just hope we finish Dallas off early enough to take out the Pens in the Finals.

I was only expecting the Wings to get away with one win in the first two games of the series. Getting wins in the first three games was above and beyond that call and duty, I believe. Let's not get too worried about this, the fourth game is always the hardest to win, the Wings played a little too much as if they were going to ease into a series victory, but they've gotten their wake-up call now and there's no way Turco is suddenly going to win BOTH games at the Joe.

The majority of this forum thought the same thing about Detroit, but it's 3-1 now...not 4-0.

If the Pens win, they have swept them 4-0.

Till then, they have won 3 games.
