If you could back your ignorant opinion up with anything at all, I could respect it more. How am I attacking a former great? I have alot of respect for Stevie. More than you know. Just because I said what I said, it has nothing to do with disrepecting Stevie. I do not have to justify my opinion to you or anyone else. And I don't need your respect of my opinion. Maybe you should not attack people by calling them names because you dont' agree with them. People grow big balls when they are hiding behind a computer screen. OsGOD 3 Report post Posted September 12, 2008 (edited) While I would love to see Stevie play again, he has too much class to do this... ...I wish it wasn't but he quit because he couldn't play at his best anymore because of his knees, they didn't heal in 2 years. I agree, whats done is done... he isn't coming back to the professional level nor hockey for that matter unless its to join the likes of Mickey in an Alumni game. I am not sure at this stage (2 years older) that it would even be beneficial at all to the team (hockey playing wise) for him to play at a competitive level. He retired for a reason and is most likely not going to change. Some just have to face the facts... not everyone is built like Chris Chelios! I commented on your opinion. It wasn't Yzerman you attacked. He never unretired. I kinda had Lemieux more in mind when I made that post. He did not come back for greed. To say he did is just wrong.
