Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Wings come out firing because if they lose two straight to open the season Babcock might bench everyone haha. Wings 5: Zata(PP), Franzen(PP), Zata, Lids(PP), Flip Sens 2: Heatley(PP), Heatley
Shaman 713 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 I think it will be 4-2 Wings, 3 Zetts, 1 Hossa, one disallowed from Homer, and homer will follow up by eating the ref's soul.
Guest CaliWingsNut Report post Posted October 11, 2008 I'm torn between saying that we don't have enough line chemestry yet, and saying that we need to make up for Thursday. Ottawa's also looking to prove they can operate without alfy. Add that we don't play well against them at home... 4-3 Ott Lids (solo), Huds (Z), Hossa (Dats, Raffy)

Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 (edited) I don't care if we lose 6-5, I just want the wings to play well and have an entertaining game. And a goal for the Hoss. Edited October 11, 2008 by Z and D for the C
The Mule 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 That is an awesome video. The Wings need to come out firing tonight and make up for their dismal performance in game one. I'll say 4-1 Wings with goals from Zetterberg, Hossa, Rafalski, and Cleary.
henrik40 76 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 wings win, thats my only prediction. i hope hossa nets a couple though that'd be good to see
Guest mindfly Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Just looked over at TSN, they said heatley has yet to score on red wings, he has scored 224 career goals and wings is the only team he hasn't scored on, lol. curse....
Rivalred 630 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 (edited) I'm afraid wings will loose this one as well, even though alfredsson is injured... Wings probably isn't "there" yet.. You have had a bad attitude about the Wings ever since the loss the other night. It was their 1st regular season game, new lines pretty much, and of the teams in the NHL, we only play Eastern Conference Teams MAYBE 2 TIMES IN 2 YEARS... If this was the playoffs and the Wings were down 0-2 in a series, then I could see this, but sheesh! By the Way, Go Wings! #18 the _Hoss_ 2 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Tonight should be better for everybody. Hoss still has EXTRA motivation when playing against ott. Tonight could result in a big win ! LGW ! LGW ! LGW !

motorcitykid 42 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 How the hell do we lose to the Leafs?? Ugh!! Anyway, Ottawa's limping a little and Babcock wasn't impressed with Thursdays effort. I'm sure we'll be tons better tonight, although it will take a bit of time for Pavs and Homer to get used to Hoss, and Hank to get used to Mule and Huds. PS: Leaf fans suck!! Go Wings!!
