puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted April 29, 2009 Nope. I think I'm the only one on the planet that hates Peeps. TPBM owns the entire set of Monty Python's Flying Circus tv episodes. ack-tually, I only know one person who likes Peeps. I don't own all the Python shows, but I think I have seen them all, more than once. TPBM prefers a nail file over clippers
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted April 29, 2009 Nope. Clippers for me. The person below me loves Peeps after they've been allowed to sit out for a few months and get stale. (Yummy-yumm!!!)

Oh, you sound like my best friend up in Minneapolis. He does that!! He says the best place to dry them out is in the car; you slit the cellophane and let them dessicate in the car for a couple of weeks until they are crusty. So, no, I don't like them like that, but Russ does!! You are not alone, 55. LOL~ TPBM has no house plants in their home.

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted April 29, 2009 (edited) I have 2, and one is now thriving, thanks to DKM. The person below me has snow in their forecast for the weekend. DKM does your housework and tends the plants? He said he got a job, but I didn't know he'd gone all domestic on us. Snow is never in the forecast here. The last time it snowed was 1985. Seriously. I have pictures. No snow here. TPBM used to own a real German VW bug - like, pre-1970 - or maybe still does? I miss mine. WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 Never owned a bug, but I like the new ones, they're cute. TPBM has recently cleaned their desk off and plans on keeping it that way. (We'll see how long it actually lasts. )

(We'll see how long it actually lasts. ) Yes, cleaned off the 2 desks in my bedroom, still have to clean off my other desk in my study. I have TONS of papers and books to organize and re-set up my lap top. Running 4 computers is a pain. TPBM gets text messages typically after midnight

SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 Indifferent, I don't watch basketball enough to have an opinion one way/another. The person below me likes blowing bubbles. 1 55fan reacted to this
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 I like blowiing bubbles, but I hate the mess the kids make when they do. TPBM thinks the Wings should consult us about our schedules before they schedule the playoff games. The kids start soccer Sunday at 2pm, think they'll miss me if I decide the Wings are a priority. 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted April 30, 2009 I'm not worried about the Wings consulting me. Whatever works for the boys is fine. That said, the NHL should put all of the games on NBC so everyone can tape them if they have a conflict. Versus, schmersus. Give me something I get!!!!! (or will get after May 6th when the fine folks at Cable One, Fargo's only cable station, come and hook me up). The person below me just can't say no when asked a favour if doing said favour is the right thing to do.

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 Yep, I'm too nice of a guy. The person below me has jumped off a tree before. Jumped off a tree, or out of one? Both, actually, I guess. I used to like to swing really high and then jump off the seat at the highest point of the swing... whee~~ It's a wonder I lived through childhood. TPBM wears plans to fly somewhere this weekend. 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 Nope, not flying anywhere. The person below me can start a thread without a typo in the subject line. (Haooy Birthday? Good grief, I know I've been drinking, but really!)

Good grief, I know I've been drinking, but really!) aooarently, you have been siooing the sauce, there, 55. Nice how the mods are just leaving it, I think it gives the thread some character and pizzazz. TPBM thinks Kira is the bees knees.

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 She's the cat's meow, for sure. The person below me has a pair of fuzzy sliooers. I do! I have the best pair of fuzzy sliooers, which aooear to be flipflops. I really aooreciate them after a tough day at work. TPBM is a bad speller, when inebriated.
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 Not so much a bad speller as I am a bad typer. That said, when I've had a little too much to drink, I get sassy more than anything. TPBM is going out on a date with their spouse or someone this weekend.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 Working this weekend, but hoping to hook up with Nik so I can clean his cage while he goes out in his ball. He's taken to pretending he's asleep when I come home and want to do some cleaning. The person below me likes our new Swedish defenseman and thinks we should collect them. SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 Don't we collect them already? Or are we talking about action figures? The person below me has rolled their tongue lately. 1 55fan reacted to this
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 Haven't had good reason to, but again, not sure there is good reason to, nor am I sure that is why it is done anyway. The person below me prefers the old murcury thermometers to the newfangled digital ones.
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted May 1, 2009 (edited) Even though we don't have one here, I do prefer them. I actually don't think we even have a thermometer that you use in your mouth, just the ear one. TPBM is trying to be more proactive instead of protaganistic. Edited for my lack of spelling ability. 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted May 2, 2009 We didn't always have ones that went in the mouth either, but we didn't have ear ones back then. The ones we did have were a pain in the butt. I'm neither proactive nor protaganistic. I'm procrastinistic. The person below me will have to wait. I'll think of something later. The person below me hates waiting. puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted May 2, 2009 The person below me hates waiting. Depends on what I am waiting for. I used to be an impatient traveller (airports), but now I simply avoid them and don't fly. Not that I don't like to travel, it's too expensive and too much hassle now. Generally, pretty patient like in traffic and such, though. TPBM loves to cook.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted May 2, 2009 If I have people to cook for I do, but not just for me unless I'm really craving something. The person below me believes that there is life on other planets.
