puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted August 19, 2010 Never have and never will. The person below me has seen the Stanley Cup in person. yes, but it was before they won it in 2002, so I haven't seen their names on the Cup for that win or '08. I will someday, though. The person below me has lost something irreplaceable.
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted August 19, 2010 I did, I lost my wedding ring....not that it matters now. The person below me has to forgive themselves for something they've done in the past.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted August 19, 2010 Oodles of things. I finally ended up in counseling with my pastor. He told me that God had forgiven me. I told him that I knew that, but that I couldn't forgive myself. He said, "If God's forgiveness is good enough for God, why isn't it good enough for you?" That pretty much put it in perspective. The person below me would like to go back to school for one scene where kids were picking on them and have a do-over where they could tell those kids exactly what they wanted to say but didn't. Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted August 19, 2010 I wasn't picked on as a kid, but I wish I could go back and certain kids to stop picking on other kids when I had the chance. THe person below me has a special disdain for bullies.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted August 19, 2010 THe person below me has a special disdain for bullies. Having taught special education, I have no tolerance for bullies and ignorant people. My kids were special, yes, but in a good way. All bullies (aside from total sociopaths) can be taught that they're wrong, and can do better. Bullies are afraid, that's why they bully others. The person below me better get to work!!

Jenny 315 Report post Posted August 21, 2010 I did, I bought dinner for my baby brother (okay, he's not a baby, he's 18 and going away to college next week). And a new toothbrush, because he forgot to bring his when he came to stay the night. The person below me is currently plotting some mischief.

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted August 21, 2010 The person below me had to drive through thick fog this morning. Aside from the fog inside my head, no. There needs to be moisture in the air for there to be fog, and we ain't got none of that moist stuff here. The person below me has hockey team pennants hung in at least one room of their abode. Jenny 315 Report post Posted August 21, 2010 No, but wouldn't that be fun? What are you up to, Jenny?? We've discovered that it's more fun to just plot the mischief than actually carry it out... most of the time! The person below me is/knows a stay at home dad. Only online, not in real life. I think it's kind of a nifty idea, though. (The couple I know online who did things that way, the mom is a lawyer and the dad was in sales and got laid off, then wound up staying home with the kids. It worked pretty well for them.) The person below me sleeps in on Saturdays.
