SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted July 27, 2011 Nah. The person below me, while not wanting anybody to die obviously and wishing Amy Winehouse (is that even how you pronounce her last name?) were still in the world, has not cared to pay more attention than necessary whatsoever to the typical overhyping of a singer/star's death.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted July 27, 2011 I don't know who she is, other than that she was a singer who had problems. I guess it is like us with Boogaard. If you cared before, you care now. If not, then it's just like hearing about any other death. You pause a moment in respect for the fact that the person had family and friends who are now hurting, but you go on with your life. The person below me talks to a pet or plant or other thing in their house that does not speak back (excluding teenagers). Mostly, I talk to my car, Hank. He's a mama's boy. I do tell appliances in my home to behave and not break, too, but they don't have names (not any that I can mention in polite company, anyway) The person below me had a nice homemade cookie today. I did.

He swears by them and says they're the most comfortable, sturdy boots he's ever owned. And the "formal" occasion he wore them for was our wedding. (It was really a very casual wedding, though.) The person below me polishes their shoes. I don't have any shoes of the type that need to be polished. It's almost all sandals and sneakers with me! The person below me usually remembers their dreams after they wake up.
